• How do I become an Affiliate?
   

   

  From the instant you join our membership website you become an affiliate! It requires no technical knowledge. Simply go to your personal profile page and click on the "My Affiliate Stats" tab. On the top right-hand corner copy the link in the box that says "Standard Linking Code". - That link is your personal link.

  When a user clicks on one of your links to NetworkingInUtah.com, their activity will be tracked by our affiliate software. You will earn a commission for every user that joins by way of your link to us.

• How much money will I make?
   

   

  You will make $2.00* of every membership that is generated via your links to us.

  *On a monthly basis for the lifetime of the member you referred. Commissions are recurring!

  3 Steps to getting paid
  
  1. Check your address
  
  Since payments are sent to the mailing address submitted with your application, it's important to confirm the accuracy of your contact information and payee name. If you need to correct any information:
  
  Log into your account at http://www.networkinginutah.com
  
  * Go to your personal profile page.
  * Click the "My Payout Info" tab.
  * Once you've entered your info click Save to update your account.
  
  This information will only be visible to you and our accounts department.
  
  2. Provide your tax information
  
  The IRS requires us to report tax information on any U.S. citizen we pay $600 or more to in a calendar year.
  
  Therefore, if you are a U.S. citizen and expect to be paid out more than $600 in a calendar year, you must fill out this information.
  
  Non-U.S. individuals and businesses don't need to fill this out.
  
  U.S. individuals, use your SSN.
  U.S. businesses, use your EIN
  
  We're unable to send payment to you until your information has been submitted. So don't skip this step!
  
  If you haven't yet submitted your tax information, go to your personal profile page and click the "My Payout Info" tab. This information will only be visible to you and our accounts department.
  
  3. Generate $20 in earnings
  
  When your total unpaid earnings reach $20, we'll send you a payment at the end of the next month. For example, if your total unpaid earnings reached $20 during January and you completed the 2 steps above, we would send you a payment at the end of February.
  
  If your total unpaid earnings haven't yet reached $20, they'll roll over to the next month and accrue until they meet the $20 threshold.

• How do I update my image?
   

   

  To update your personal profile image and get rid of the ugly silhouette picture simply do the following:
  
  Go to your personal profile page by clicking on "My Profile" on the User Menu. Click on the "Edit" tab right above the picture and select "Update Your Image". Click on "Browse" to find the picture in your computer and then click "Upload".
  
  Your image file can be maximum (width x height - size): 200x500 - 100 KB

• How do I edit my profile? How do I share what I do?
   

   

  To update your profile and share with others what you do simply do the following:

  Go to your personal profile page by clicking on "My Profile" on the User Menu. Click on the "Edit" tab right above the picture and select "Update Your Profile". You'll see several different tabs, just browse through those tabs and fill in the blanks as you please. Once you're done select "Update" towards the bottom of the page.

• How do I send a person a message?
   

   

  Go to that persons personal profile page, above their picture you'll see a tab called "Messages", put your mouse over there and select "Send Private Message" to send them a message via the website, or "Send Email" to send them an email.
  
  Type in the subject of the message, type in your message and select "Send Message".

• How do I connect with others? How do I add them to my connections list?
   

   

  Connecting is a big part of networking, so here's what you do:

  When you find someone you'd wish to connect with go to his or hers profile page. Above their picture you'll see a tab called 'Connections' put your mouse over that tab and select "Request Connection". A little box will pop up where you can write them a message requesting the connection.

• How do I accept a connection?
   

   

  When someone has requested to connect with you, you will see a flashing icon below your picture on the member login area. Click there! If you'd like to accept the connection select the little green check mark, if you'd like to decline it select the little red x. Then, select update.
  
  There might be an extra screen asking you what type of connection that is (friend, co-worker...), just follow the promptings on your screen, make a selection and click update.
