Several meetings put a table at the room where people are supposed to put their flyers.
This happens to avoid passing papers from one person to the other.
Some people say it is messy!
Well, easily each of these meetings cost from $15 to $45 per person and you take time from your regular work to attend and network.
Most people don't even bother to get near the table.
I've tested both formats and can tell you, the chance to give the person a flyer or card personally increases response a lot.
I'm not attending anymore most of the meetings that only allow the table as a form to pass information.
For me it is not worth the investment. I'm there on business.
